I wanna make a street rod truck. Sunday toy 400+ HP no towing just fun make noise and show it off.

forgot to mention that the plenum gasket has been blown out. I can see massive amounts of oil in the intake....

That will rob you of a fair bit of power, and with your mileage, timing chain is probably stretched out to beat the band as well.

For what you are looking for, the kegger ain't gonna get ya there. Unfortunately, your only alternative is the hughes air gap. Unless you get REALLY lucky, and find an M1 two barrel...... Just make sure all the parts you select are designed to work in the same RPM band.... a low end grunt cam, with a single-plane manifold, designed for high rpm power, will suck at both.

Well, then Hughs air gap is what I most likely will go with. the current timing chain is only 2 years old. I wish I would have did the plenum rebuild back then. I will start a new thread when the teardown and rebuild begins.

Since I put a 99-02 front axle on my 95 2500 that means I can run the Thuren torsion sway bar and end links. It's sweet as hell, but that's not why I'm posting.

The thing that's cool is I figured out you can replace these bottom end link mounts with these Jeep parts and turn it into a quick disconnect sway bar.

I wasn't sure if it was going to fit before I bought the parts and tried it but got lucky and everything fits perfect.

I'm pretty stoked! Getting ready to hit some trails!

I ordered plugs, cap, rotor, and wires when I realized it’s been 10yrs since I last changed them

Probably why I get the occasional miss on 8 first thing in the morning.

These are the repairs I’ve done over the past month:
Replaced power steering gear and pitman arm. Had front end aligned.
Replaced Governor Pressure Sensor and Pressure Sensor Solenoid.
Replaced transmission filter
Changed oil and oil filter.
Replaced front brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings, and seals.
Replaced rear brake shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, and drums.
Power bled brake system.
Did all the work myself, and that was a lot for a 64 year old fat man!! 😂😂

Today I fixed my ac switch. It was only blowing from defrost. Found a brittle ac line right by firewall. Easy fix.
I also replaced spark plugs, air filter, and installed a in line fuel filter.
