Get another job that's closer

And something that I can enjoy/go to school around.

Got my new JY sourced tcase in. Left the front driveline out, since I am sure that's what cause the failure. It will go back in when the front axle get's it's turn to empty my wallet.

Boy it was Nice to drive ol' Brandy around.

Good luck on the job front Wombat, I can't find anything here.

Worked on the tape player a bit today, it's FUBAR Totally sucks too, might have a 6 hour trip in Georgia (3ish there and 3ish back) coming up soon, might kill myself with the crap on the damn radio here.

Get one of those Blutooth devices that can hook up to your smartphone.

My tape player is FUBAR, too, and until I upgrade to the factory CD player I get by just fine with my personal MP3 player (a Sansa Fuze+) and an FM transmitter that plugs into the player's headphone jack. Just a thought.

Actually both are possible ideas. Have to check out the stock next time I hit WalMart.

Every vehicle I've ever owned and liked has ended up with allen bolts -- back in the day when the cool kids were installing wing studs to make it easy to get in to do valve lash adjustments, I went for allen bolts. Those damned wing studs were famous for breaking off anyway, and I could get in just as fast with a t-handle without worrying about breakage. Never mind that there ain't no fast gonna happen with our "cab forward design". It's still a lot faster than messing with the factory hardware.

Hooray for no more self-loosening valve cover bolts.
Sounds excellent. Was wondering how you dealt with the plug wire clips. Have a set of plug wires to change and will probably do the allen bolt thing at the same time. Most of my clips seem to be missing. Gonna change valve stem seals also. Hard to stop once you get started, but seems the best time to take care of it all at once.

Thanks Stewie. I hope you get into something quickly as well. I probably have a lot less financial responsibility than you, I'm sure it's rough...
