No. When they're installed correctly they have a 3/8" to 1/2" clearance from the axle. My 4x2 sits a little too low since they're designed primarily for 4x4, so it sits right on the axle and does make my offroad ride very bumpy. I am going to put 2" spacers under the leafs to get proper clearance. But, even with the 2500#+ load, I only had maybe 2" of squat and my steering wasn't squirly like before when I put a huge load in the bed.

Just picked up another 241 to replace the busted one. Its from an auto, so i will need to swap inputs. I am thinking about pulling it all the way apart so I can rebuild it, but that costs money and I quit my job last thursday... The thought of having my truck back on the road by tonight is really tempting too...
