replaced waterpump and serp belt yesterday. nice and easy one to do. pull belt off, 2 bolts and a tap with a rubber mallet and it falls right out! and its at the top left of the motor making it very easy to get to.

no hoses hooked to the waterpump...simply attaches to front of the block inside the waterjacket below the tstat.

Drove it to town to run an errand today. First time to drive it in two weeks.

Yep, I figured since I sold my Grand Cherokee 4x4 daily driver and bought a 4 banger - gas sipper, I'd start using my truck more because of the things I did in the Jeep that the car can't do. Instead, between the fact I'm working more hours and I'm liking the 38 MPGs of the car, I'm usually using my truck about once every 10 days or so...

Yota gets right at 20 mpg and Ram is about 14. So for trips to Austin it's the Yota. Can't wait until I get moved and have shorter commute. Ram is more comfortable to drive, and I only have to be in office three days a week, so gas for local Austin driving won't be an issue.

Truck was suppose to have the rear wheel seals done but didn't get done today and I was limited on time to help with the process so it's on to driving the Geo in snow land for now

I'm hoping it snows a$$hole deep to a camel this year so I have a good excuse to drive the Ram.

i don't want to see any snow. it sucks working on a truck in the freezing cold.

i finally got to sort through the crap i pulled out of the dumpster near work and i got a lot of cool stuff. looks like i got 6 full rolls of led's and a couple smaller stips. one of the rolls even had RGB led's so it can change colors. just got to figure what to do with them. i was thinking about putting some of the white one in the box on my 81.
