^^^ ouch. I saw a story where a guy ran over some wire when mowing and it ended up in his skull 2". So consider yourself lucky.

So I'm on vacation in Bham alabama. It's about a 380mile drive. We drove the Cruze this time due to cost of gas. I filled up when leaving town and reset mpg reading. I arrived with 1/4 tank remaining and a average of 37.5 mpg. I was hovering around 50 mpg until I hit all the hills in alabama. I got here on about $30 of gas!!! If I had brought the truck it would have been around $100 just to get here.

So after nearly a week straight of rain I was able to get everything mowed and pretty looking again, went for a nice swim and now it's pouring again, thunder and occasional lightning.

Tired of this rain, wish we could move it to the middle of the country

We need that rain...send it down! Farmer just turned his wheat stubble under on 80 acre tract just north of the house. That makes me feel a little better. Too many fires....
