Bought a truck yesterday. 1979 Toyota Pickup 4WD. 20R with a 4 speed.

Despite its looks, the damn thing runs like a top, and it has power. The little thing will scoot. The 4WD works flawlessly. Best part is, I only gave $50 for it. I have doors and hood, but, who needs them? haha. Going to remove the back glass, it's in perfect shape, might be worth a little money, then I'm going to put chicken wire in the windshield, then Its going straight to the trails, and mud pits.

Yank the bed, flat bed it.
You should put a hood on it though. Keeps SOME crap from messing with the engine.

Yeah, I'll atleast put the hood on, and I was already thinking about making a wooden flatbed for it, and then calling it the "Taliban Taxi". It would look like something from Iraq or Afghanistan.

Gotta clean it up a bit and paint it white if you want it to be a Taliban taxi. They don't have rust over there, you know.

Put a gas cap on it, or in keeping with the theme of the rest of the truck, stuff a grease rag in the filler neck. You did good for $50.

I bought a 91 ford tempo once for $50. It only had one brake on all 4 corners, lol. We used to beat the hell outta it on the trails, then it caught fire.

Why'd it catch fire?
