Yeah, we are supposed to warm up toward the weekend, and get some rain..... which means all this snow is going to melt, and I am going to have an indoor swimming pool in my basement..... joy.
Of course, that also means I am not going to bother shoveling out the snow in the sub-zero temps.... screw it. That's why I have four wheel drive.
Here in western PA we had -9 degrees F last night...which is I think the coldest weather I've ever experienced in my life (I'm 23)...had a water pipe freeze on me this morning and my little tracker did NOT like starting but she did on the first try ...its just now getting to be above 0 but I think by the weekend we're supposed to be in the 40s again thank god
We are at 19F and warming up to 46F, snow and rain are in the forecast again for the next 7 days. I feel for you guys in this cold snap, I don't miss it one bit.
How does it miss you? I would think it would be cold there since you are North of me. north=cold

I think it's because we are only 6hrs east of the Pacific Ocean and that keeps our temps up, not as warm as living on the coast but much better than most places. If you travel east up and over the mountain's and into Alberta then the cold temps start. The Shuswap Lake also helps keep us warm, bigger lake only 2.5 km away from us as well. 45min south of us they don't even have snow.
We get a crap load of snow but not as much a Revelstoke does or Kaslo.
Got you all beat! -30 Celcius right now (-22 Fahrenheit for my American friends.) Weird thing is it's supposed to reach 0 Celcius (32 Celcius) by Friday :s
