LOLOL. Yeah, that sounds familiar. 
I bet Sandy just HATES this weather.... I know I certainly do.... my arthritis kicks my *** in this stuff...... Feel like I went five rounds with six guys with baseball bats.

Our last dog was a dachshund. When he was younger he would chase snowballs. Hell he just plain loved the snow. As he got older and his hips started going it was a bit harder on him. He buried under a birch tree now.
Our new pup is kinda iffy about it, but when it comes time to go plowing she's bouncing at the door!

Oh Yeah. The girls are ALL ABOUT going for rides. If I even LOOK LIKE I am going to go somewhere, they are RIGHT there, ready to go. 
Sophie wasn't always like that... when she was just a pup, she didn't like going for rides, she would rather do just about anything else. One day, we wanted to take off quick, and she would NOT get in the truck... So, I put her in the back yard, and close the gate. We were gone about five hours.
After that, if you open the truck door, you will find her sitting on the seat, wondering why you are moving so slow.

Rex loves rides but one time he jumped out the window while I was going down the road. I'm kinda hesitant to take him now

I would hope he figgered out that was a BAD idea.....
I usually don't leave the windows down far enough for either of the girls to get out.... Kia needs to be on a leash, else as soon as the door opens, she is out and on her way. Not fun in parking lots...... She has gotten a LOT better though. She is actually learning what "STAY" means.
Of course, it doesn't hurt, that when we go out to eat, and make them wait in the truck, they get 'treats' when we come back. Yes, I spoil my dogs mercilessly.
