It was 13-16*F all morning here in Virginia with a windchill down around -2. This is on the coast where it never gets below 15 with the windchill. I had never been that cold and at work, I was on the pier. Wind kicked my butt. I have to ask you northern folks. How do y'all dress for y'all's -20s and -30s?

Insulated boots. Two pairs of socks. Sweats under my jeans. Down jacket over my carhart. Scarf. Nice warm fuzzy hat. Face wrap. Gloves. Make sure you pull the drawstrings on the outer jacket, to keep the wind from blowing up it.

I was outside for about two hours today. My hands got cold, only because of the gloves I was wearing. The rest of me was tolerable. Wind chill was -31......

Of course, the incredible cold just destroyed my lungs, and I think it took me another three hours inside to be able to breath semi-normally again.... but, I have interesting health issues anyway.... so, your mileage may vary.

So on the job search and came across a listing for Personal Assistant to CEO, they don't name the company but it's a large financial firm in Maryland.

Starting pay for this personal assistant job? $80,000 a year.....

And you better be young, female, and look REALLY good in a skirt, if you want the job....... Competence is optional.
