The Official 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread
Not feeling left out at all. I have the same complaint about the people who ramble on about the sports BS; how to install a something-something on their 4x4; why diesel trucks make someone more manly; etc.
IIRC, someone was banned from this forum because he turned Off Topic into his own gab thread with everyone.
Go to the very beginning of the thread and you'll see the original intent was for people to post something, let there be a few comments, and then someone posts something else -- rinse, lather, repeat.

If the daily wtf and gibberish thread hadn't been merged you would have te back and forth banter in the gibberish thread and the daily wtf where people post something. People laugh. Then someone posts something else. Now it's just one big cluster
I agree.
Merc,
If I still snowmobiled I'd love to take you up on your offer. I had to stop because of my leg. But soon I'm going to go visit my neighbor in the Great White North.....
So anyhow I know this is a little late to be posting Christmas presents but I just actually got this one. Back in 1992 when I got out of the Army I bought my dad a rifle so that he and I could go hunting together. Well as things worked out we never got that chance to go. He passed away this past October and my mom gave me the rifle back. Now in the past 21 years this rifle has never been fired. So when I got it back I had been looking at scopes and new stocks that I would like to put on it. Well the wife must have been paying attention because she took the rifle over to a friends and had him take it to his gunsmith. She ordered a new stock for it and a new scope.
Take a gander at it.
A good shot of the colors in the stock.
And then there is the scope. It is a Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x50 the thing is sweeeeeeet let me tell you.
She tried to have it ready before Christmas but they ran into parts issues. So our friend had just got it back from the gunsmith and sent me pictures last night. Going to go over and pick it up this weekend. Can't wait to go shot it now. It is a 30.06 so good for Deer and Elk here plus Bear.
