So if they had wanted to they could have pushed the issue. My General told me he would have approved it if it had come to him. But again my command had no ***** plus they were trying to cover up the whole mess because it would look bad on their record.

I have pretty much accepted the fact that I won't get my PH and just deal with it the best I can. All that has happened since I got wounded has shed new light on the faults with in our government and the military.

And I was a 1st Sergeant of the Security Company when I was shot.

You never shed blood for your country. You were over there as a pawn for geopolitical purposes.

Old men sit around and dream up wars for young men to die in.

^Lol on the first pic haha.

Got our tractor sold finally. The guy got mad when I told him cash or certified check only. He said everyone around here knows his checks are good. Gosh... Everyone does cash around here... Then he comes and keeps saying how it'll come back on us if the tractor shows up stolen, and how he doesn't trust us because we don't trust him (which I never said, but he equates trust with taking his personal check??). Guy was simply angry that I wouldn't take his personal check... I've got the original bill of sale from when we bought it 7 years ago... Whatever, he better not stir up any trouble or I'll put a stop to it mighty fast...

Soldiers are not politicians they are warriors who go where they are told. Yes we are not unthinking and yes we can make a choice when needed. You play all the game on words you want and I'll continue to think the way I do.

Aofarrell2,
Sounds like drama in the heartland. Crazy sometimes what folks will get their tighty whitey's in a bunch about. Not like that certified check was going to cost him anything. Good job on standing your ground.

Funny...nobody wants a purple heart in the game battlefield means you're a noob if you get one.

Sucks they didn't give you one though. But hey! Just means the enemy was never able to take you out! Instead some noob did with friendly fire

Smile Spring

My yard has large patches of onions, I'll leave them for the first mow. On a bright note, my farm truck is up to 12.8 mpg after the tune up (today's fill up and read of the trip meter).

It's gas gauge never has worked since I bought it, as a matter of fact when you fill up, the low gas light on the dash comes on..........lol . K.
