Yeah those are the vortec manifolds if im not mistaken the top piece is a plastic/composite(whatever you call the material), I meant the early 90's are one piece and I kinda read the thing wrong, my bad

If i'm correct though if the gasket between the top and bottom piece leaked it would just leak out air because the bottom piece has solid construction on the bottom and seals before getting to the top part

You would truly have to be a 'lemon head' if wanted an idiotic car like that. Stupid Donks.....

So is there anyone else on DF that is a complete insomniac like myself? I can't sleep right no more...since I quit smoking back in April. Should I start taking sleeping pills or something? Do not have in insurance, I would be paying outta pocket for anything....

No. Sleeping pills are NOT the answer. (trust me on this one.)

Take up jogging.... go for a bit of a run in the evening, nice shower when you get home, relax for a bit, THEN go to bed. Might help.

Take up smoking again? Everyone's gotta have a vice........

Yeah I do agree with ya, I've always been against pill popping but desperate times call for desperate measures? Usually I just screw around on DF late at nite til i'm ready for some sleepy...really don't wanna smoke for the time being...hard habit to quit and don't wanna redo that...haha. Replaced that with drinking since I turned 21 in June so I been having a few during the late hours...but not really helping. lol

Drinking doesn't help you sleep, even if it makes you tired.

I agree with the exercise thing...and I wonder if you're not having some issues with depression. Depression has similar symptoms...

Lastly, I would like to state that the definition of irony is that this thread, which was started by a mod who managed to get his sorry **** banned, is still going.

Whiskey is a good sleep aid.
Meaning a mixed drink with about 3 or 4 shots of whiskey, not getting plastered.
