i only have a 26 gallon tank and i had 1.5 gallons left in the tank. im getting the diesel itch... im gonna have one in the next 2 years.... even if its a 2nd gen, though i want to step up to the 3rd gen for a bigger cab.

just got an email, we are getting our new puppy sunday, instead of saturday.

also, just filed our taxes! getting 7600 back, and will have to amend our return once the wifes 1098-t comes in, and should get another thousand or so back!

built 360 here i come!

Gasoline is 3.599/gal for 87 octane around here.

So just curious, if one got a 318, could they bore it out to a 360?

should be the same block, just need a 360 crank rods and pistons and cam.....

That's what I thought. Has anyone tried boring a 360 out any further with stock heads?

stock heads would be fine, even better would be 2.02 valves. but for low end stock heads are better.

You could take it all the way up to a 390, if you wanted to. It'd be a lot cheaper and more practical to just find a used 360, however.

which is what im doing, and making it a mild torque monster, and then next year its getting bored .040 over for even more power and torque!
