Depending on if the women calls me back and I like how it looks we might be going to look at a Subaru Outback Wagon, $2k.
Edit:
I used the DF regular site on my GS3 with Chrome and it worked great

Those subies are d@mn near indestructible. Next door neighbor has an old subaru DL wagon, had like 500,000 miles on it. It was a rustbucket, but it still ran and he drove it every day.

Your right. I forgot people on the internet couldn't take a joke. Guess I will have to keep them to myself from now on.. I wasn't joking about taking two tow mirrors though.. the same kids that drive around with them up are the same people who think its ok to drive over the yellow line... I'll stand my ground longer than many others will.. hence the reason the lose the mirror.. I could in reality get them in trouble for it if I felt like it.
Subies last forever if taken care of. They are also a good vehicle all year round... Id get a STI before and outback though

has not been my experience with them...
maybe the new ones are better, but I had an old 81 GL...
car left me stranded 4 times!
went through CV axles like oil changes.
ignition switch got f'ed up and had to bypass it with a toggle switch and push button starter.
clutch cable broke on it one day on the way to work (not the only time its gone through a clutch cable either), and had to drive it clutchless all the way to work, soon as I got to the turn to go into works lot, the throttle cable broke and left the engine wide open!
I put more work time and money into that car than it was worth. then the distributor started going out and would just randomly stall the engine. that was the last straw. F-that car!

No joke.
I started to do that to one of my friend one time.
The look on his face was priceless.
HA!

apparently you haven't seen lesbians outside of **** around here...
you can see why they are lesbians...no man would touch them! most of them are hideous looking! sure there are exceptions to the rule, but even a broken clock is right twice a day...doesn't change the fact that most of them are F'ugly!
I 4x'ed it a few times...
had nothing to do with CV axles going...damn boots kept splitting open and slinging grease everywhere...problem was subaru's design...lets put the cat right below the CV axle rubber boot so all that heat can weaken the boot...
cables had nothing to do with 4x'in either...I took it through a mud and gravel pit, not the brush... cables are on top of the motor going into the firewall..
distributor was also out of reach for 4x'in...
I did break the exhaust off post-cat by bottoming out on a boulder coming out of the mud pit... but I replaced with home made custom dual side exit exhaust
had a buddy make me a Y-pipe and used a couple 45's and a couple straight pieces and put it all together...
