Any input?
we have a water softener that uses salt. works well, however, our "white" tub is not orange because of the iron content. softener fixed that issue. bags of salt are about 5 bucks for a 40lb bag here.

Good to hear. I have a old rainsoft water filter that uses the salt blocks that I have been putting off installing cause I wasn't sure if it would do the trick. I have also been wondering if I could put some sand in it with a filter pad onto to keep the sand out of the water.

dont put sand in there. it will just clog up that much quicker. i have to clean the salt box every 6 months to a year.

He isn't the only one proposing gas tax hikes. Same going on here in michigan. They don't seem to have enough money to fix the roads...... so they wanna raise the gas tax. Funny part is, even when they HAD the money to fix the roads, they didn't..... I am real curious what they did with the money.

The senator that proposed the bill here is a crony. Evil bast@rd that will likely benefit greatly from it.
