woke up to no water this morning. tank is full of air
Still have no water. Not sure if it's the wiring at the pump house or the pump itself. Waiting on a pump guy to call back.

OOOO not good no water sucks. Have you gone down to the pump house to see what's going on? might be a good idea if the pump is running dry it will burn out and that will mean a new pump is needed. Possible foot valve is shot or the well has run dry. I hope the well has not run dry like ours did last fall, lot's of cash for a new one to be drilled. Any creeks around you were you can get good clean water from?

We're getting 240v at the barn, which the feeds then goes to the pump house, but not getting 240v there. It's apparently 2 120v circuits tied together to make the 240v, he suspects one leg of the 120v is open.
In over my head...
I doubt the well has gone dry. There's so much water around here. There's a natural spring behind the Spring House which is 30' away from the Pump House.

I went down and checked breakers and the contacts for the pump with a voltage meter while talking to my grandfather, since he setup the system.

There is a splice to a outdoor receptacle off the feed that goes into the pump house, I dug up the cable, found the junction box, walked down to the Pump House to get a screw driver and what do ya know the pump kicked on.
Water is working. The connections in the box were soldered together and wrapped with heat wrap, so not sure what's going on.
Weather looks to be nicer tomorrow so I'll open the box tomorrow and see what I can find.
But we do have water, least for now.
