Stole the pics from a 3rd Gen thread, thought ya'll might like them. Toyota rear ended a Ram at a dead stop. Who won?

My daughter got rear-ended in my four-door blazer..... took out the bumper, tailgate, and glass. Noting else was damaged. Estimate for repairs: 2200.00 bucks..... Holy smokes.
Got the mini-tort money from the other guy's insurance, (500 bucks) went to the yard, scored another tailgate (that was even the right color), and glass for 50 bucks. Pulled the bumper back into some semblance of it's original shape, and called it a day. Could barely tell it had been hit.
Other guys car though.... well, it tried to swallow my trailer hitch, and then didn't want to let go when he was pulled off. His car: Totaled.

miata was totaled and the driver was cited for letting his 12yo ride without a seatbelt. kid had to be rushed to the er with exstensive injuries.
