minimum wage in WA state is $9.19/hr

but a single income guy living alone wouldn't be able to survive around here on that. take 16/hr or so to afford to live alone. rents and taxes and such are expensive around here. most 1 bedroom apartments and such are like $800+/month in the most undesirable neighborhoods around (high crime areas)

10 years ago you could rent a 2 bedroom house with a yard for that in a decent neighborhood...damn inflation and economy..

9.19/hr holy smokes! we go by the federal minimum wage here. the gov't is trying to create our own minimum wage laws. hope it happens!

a decent 1 bedroom apt in our neck of the woods is around 700/mo 500-600 in a crappy neighborhood.

So I went and saw the doctor today, she said it all looks like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. We started with Nabumetone 750mg twice daily and a wrist brace. And we'll re-evaluate in June, or earlier if I need to.

If the brace and meds don't give some relief I'll get a referral to a hand specialist and surgery is a possibility.
