My goal is to start looking for free fill for that area, but lots of red tape to go though as we are by the river so clean mud/sand fill only.

Pix of last year's flooding, this is well after the flood cleaning up, it was level with the bush tops.

The Eagle River, normal level.

Todays pix will be posted later on.

It needs to come up 8+ feet before we have to move, this is a possibility. We are at the mercy of the weather, so just watch the river levels and go from there.

Yesterdays pix 5/12/13, just starting to flood.

^^ Looks like a mess merc.

Anyone else think the Season Finale of NCIS was kinda lame?

Oh, Fox is bringing back 24! It won't be the same format as before, less episodes. Not really sure if it's gonna be a yearly thing or not...

^^^ It looks worse than it is, won't be too hard to clean up when its all done. I want to open it up for 4wd trucks to go play in, but was told not a chance in heck (for many reasons). Its still about 3'-4' deep in spots, it would make things interesting to 4wd in.

So it was late, or early Thursday morning, and after a few stray clicks on YouTube I was watching tarantula molting videos...

WTF!

Saw some Goliath tarantulas on YouTube as well, they're pretty cudly looking

Haven't had a chance to work on the dodge so I worked on the GMC. Installed 4 tie rods, 4 ball joints, Putnam arm, and idler arm. Now it needs a new gearbox.

Hopefully I can drive the dodge to work in a couple of weekends and swap my bad cylinder head out for a new one and fix the a/c.

Mentioned this in the what did you do to your ram today thread, but thought I would give some details here.

Sunday I walked into home depot to return $10 worth of fittings when I found myself sitting on a new cub cadet mower. I was getting as depressed as my grass was getting tall and I had no mower to cut it. After talking to the sales guy a little bit I decided to fill out a credit app, I had no hopes of getting approved. Blockbuster wouldn't even give me a card when they were open. They actually approved me for $1500 and I purchased a 2013 cub cadet ltx1040. I didn't have any of my trucks at home so I had to borrow a friend's f250. By the time I got it home it was too late to now, not because it was dark cause thatt thing has headlights as bright as my 2012 Cruze, I was just to tired. So Monday after I got hone from work I decided to fire it up and now the yard. I mowed 1.5 acres of rough terrain in less than 2 hrs. Then went to hose it down and noticed I had popped the front tire already!!! That mower mowed through 4" tall weeds and brush like it was nothing.

I know it's not great, but 4 days is WAY too long to wait for a fresh post in this thread.
