Haha, last fill-up was an average of 10.6 - that's with stock tires, flowbastard with duals, CAI, a very heavy foot, and a little too much time in the dirt. So, it's acceptable. If I tried I bet I could close to 14. (But that's why I've got the car that gets 25 mpg too..)

HAHA! I've never heard of that exhaust system before, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want two of them!

Now I love my truck, don't get me wrong. Wouldn't trade it for anything. But I have got to get my hands one of these cummins some day man when I don't go in the woods anymore. 20 mpg, and I love diesels. I would have one already if they made 2500's in a Regular cab short bed setup. oh well probably too heavy for the mud... at least that's what I keep telling myself

mods in sig and doing my regular daily driving of mixed city/highway, I get 12.5 for that and I just did a 1200 mile round trip and I averaged 15.5 mpg...all highway btw.

this should change for the better here in the next 2 months because my plan is to have a entire new exhaust hooked up, fastman throttle body, round air filter, and electric fans installed by the end of november. Those are going to be the last mods I do to my truck until I get back from Japan in 2010. However, when I get back, that engine is getting ripped out, torn apart, and rebuilt with all new parts. I'm going to see how much power I can squeeze out of that block.

I have an 01' 2500 4x4 w/ 4:10's and 265/75/16 (stock) tires. I was averaging 13 mpg when i first got it. i have since added a volant CAI w/ scoop and i now average 13.5 mpg. Worst was 12.8 (towing a car) and best was 13.99 (didn't make 14 i was bummed). I run 70 miles to and from work everyday, all highway, and go about 70mph.
