2000 ram 3500 single cab......cummins......3:55's......18-19 city....21-23 hwy....23 being the best at some point in between north carolina and louisiana------truck= 6200lbs, welding machine=1600lbs, oxygen, acetylene, and argon bottles=500lbs?= roughly 8300lbs+tools.....not too shabby!......running stock filter and open exhaust (4").......well gotta get back to watching hurricane humberto!!! great another one!!! lol!!!
Haha, last fill-up was an average of 10.6 - that's with stock tires, flowbastard with duals, CAI, a very heavy foot, and a little too much time in the dirt. So, it's acceptable. If I tried I bet I could close to 14. (But that's why I've got the car that gets 25 mpg too..)

HAHA! I've never heard of that exhaust system before, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want two of them!

mods in sig and doing my regular daily driving of mixed city/highway, I get 12.5 for that and I just did a 1200 mile round trip and I averaged 15.5 mpg...all highway btw.
this should change for the better here in the next 2 months because my plan is to have a entire new exhaust hooked up, fastman throttle body, round air filter, and electric fans installed by the end of november. Those are going to be the last mods I do to my truck until I get back from Japan in 2010. However, when I get back, that engine is getting ripped out, torn apart, and rebuilt with all new parts. I'm going to see how much power I can squeeze out of that block.
