99 2500 v10 short box. Average is around 10.6 best I've seen was 12.3 worst I've seen was 8.7 towing across the mountains. Actually I was wondering what is the best single thing you can do to increase city driving fuel consumption? Ive been looking around and it looks like it's kinda spread out between what people think is the best.

lately, 7.4 city, 11 hwy (some mountains) 55-65mph, flats get 13ish 55-65mph. About same loaded. Haven't been driving like grandpa lately, but it wouldn't help much anyway.
v10 ~130,000miles + bad tranny
285 75 17, 3.55s
headers, 2.5 exhaust headers back high flow cats
sct tune

Let's see I've done plenum, t chain, plugs, wires, cap, rotor button, headers, intake, straight pipes and with my 4.88's and 35's the best I've gotten was 15.7 running about 50 mph. Normally I get between 12-14.5 though. Depends on my driving. I do need a o2 sensor though.

around 13.5 average b/w hwy and city.
