Did the plenum (along w/ new water pump, radiator, bypass hose, lower rad hose, and replaced a cracked injector) a few weeks back... The old gasket didn't look too bad but there was some oil on the pan still. Not sure if that's a bad gasket or PCV. I used the Hughes plate, gasket, and bolts (only used sealant on the corners where the intake meets the engine). It's holding up so far.

Original plenum pan 131K miles:

I was losing nearly a quart of oil 1000 miles or so after an oil change.
With the new plate I could tell there was an increase in power.

HeyYou, think a link to this thread could be added somewhere to the first post of the "End all be all plenum" thread?

I hope you used newer SHORTER bolts on the pan gasket! The factory ones are just alittle too long and wont torque down properly, which will blow the gasket prematurely!

Anyways good luck

He has a thicker aluminum plate there, so, even the stock bolts would work just fine.

So what is everyone cleaning their keg with?
Ive read hot water and dish soap, any kind of degreaser, and hot water and elbow grease.
