I'm willing to bet the Gov solenoid is clogged again. Which obviously is not a good thing. Drop the pan again, and clean it, and see what happens. Just trying to save you some money short term, so you can save for up for a new tranny.

Edit: Sorry, By "clean it" I mean the Gov solenoid.

yea i was thinking of that. ive read that screwy shifts can come from the solenoid because if the screen gets clogged like the filter gets clogged acting as if it was low fluid because it cant get flow properly. im torn between buying the tranny for around hundred bucks than starting to get all the rebuild stuff over the next two weeks and start doing the tare down and rebuild with in the month and just hope my tranny holds on till the new one is rebuilt. or spend the hundred bucks on trying to save this tranny.

well i slept on it, and im going to drop the pan and inspect the fluid, the magnet and gov. pressure solenoid. going to do it this weekend, i know i can do the job fairly quick, ive dropped and changed several tranny pans and filters, however i want all the light and time, im going to check all lines wires going to the tranny and clean the outside with brake cleaner. if it doesnt fix it and the guy still has the tranny than next weekend i will buy the used tranny tear it down clean it all up over the next couple weeks and rebuild it. the only worry is maybe he wont have the tranny anymore. its the only one in my area, however worse comes to worse im just going to have to pull mine. Ill buy a ****ing peddle bike and bike into work for a month use my money i would have spent on gas for my rebuild. (its a little cold though lol)
the most frustrating part is dealing with a bitching wife

ask purpledodge how that harbor freight torque wrench worked out for his transmission..

OP: keep your head up dude, you're BigBlue-MF'n-83... you ain't pray, you is the predator.. so what? you get some curve *****, so the ef what? you've hit em' before, and you'll hit these too- stop playin' with yourself acting all like "I'm effed", because you ain't effed- you know it, and so do we.. you is just acting all pissed and down to feel mortal.. eff that.. fix your shizen and shut up!!

btw- it certainly sounds like a solenoid.. the questions I would have, is why so soon? the little test you can do is shift manually.. drop the lever past D to first from a stop- accel to suitable speed, manually shift to second.. then D.. ect.. if it does this without complaining, your electronics (solenoids) are jacked, and not your transmission proper..

The gunk forms because the transmission filter and fluid are not being changed on a regular schedule.
