OK. I see part of your problem. I had the same thing.

There is a strut that is about 1 1/4" long and about 1" wide and 1/8" thick that sits in a notch in the arm to the servo and rests on a fitting on the rear band. It fell out of place allowing the servo arm to drop like that. The servo cannot reach that to engage the rear band.

Reach around beneat the band on top of VB. It may be resting there just out of sight. It is a PITA to put back in...

o.k so im kinda lost lol. i take it the band in the video was not supposed to move like that thats why you posted a pic of your band hanging like that.
I dont know what the servo is. I know vb is valve body, i will look at the service manual to find location of of valve body so i can look for the strut you mentioned. any more info would truly help. Thank you

See the adjusting acrew in the photo I posted? It should be right above that on the VB if it is not in the pan. The servo is the piston which is operated form hydraulic preesure forn the pump. When it pressures up, the piston moves down and osuhes on the rod on the arm, moving it downward and then pushing on the strut to close and hold the band clamped on the drum.

ok, so ive read portions of the service manual, and found out that the vb is not what i thought it was, thats why i didnt know where it was, that **** was right in my face lol. i also googled and googled until i found the piece i believe youre talking about. its kinda dark but i went out with my flash light and took a look i didnt see anything or feel anything. Not too insult you gdstock, but im not too confident in what im doing are you sure the piece you said is moved or missing is truly not where its supposed to be?(i know my video wasnt the greatest) (nor my pic of the vb with the filter off) as i said i dont know too much of what im doing. any ways would it be recomended that i remove the valve body and search for this piece??? in the morning i will get a better look. here is a pic of the piece i believe you are talking referring too

The strut for the rear band that you are looking for is this one:

IU looked for a photo that I took, but it must be on another computer.

I would spray the crap out of that soleniod and reinstall it...there is a DIY on how to dissassembe it and clean and test it in the DIY section...I did try it and it seemed to work but I replaced with the borg warner unit when I had mine rebuilt... tranny shop said when they plug up bad like that usually something else is failing which makes sense... my TC failed and plugged my valve body passages...

Hi, just read your post... I feel your pain! I had a very similar problem only the anchor for the front band broke! I found it resting on top of the valve body. I bought a new HD one along with a HD strut. It wasn't too bad to put in, but I had to drop the VB. This is on the second trans I put in within 500 miles. STAY AWAY from those rebuilt trans on E-BAY from a guy in Hawley PA (Not going to say the name of his company...). They are CRAP! Now I am getting a TCC code.

I seriously considered an ebay transmission but without any real warranty and being so close in price to the local shop who did all the work I decided against it...I realize all sellers are different but something like this just seemed like more of a risk.
