Need some de-pooper. Kind of what it looks like! I'll check at FLAPS and see what else they have.

On another note, anyone know how much a 46RE weighs (as well as length and height - without having to climb under and measure? I know it is too heavy for on old phart like me to lift (again) without injuring himself!

Twice I picked up a transmission out of a Silverado 4x4 Z71, with fluid in it. Probably around 150-200lb, wouldn't think a 46RE would be much different...

Has anyone bought seat covers from Total Leather that advertises o this forum (orange and black "TL" graphic on the right side of screen)?

Theri site does not show anything for a 1999, and they appear to not respond to e-mail very quickly. I am considering this as a possible option.

The option of sending seat bottom to New York did not work so well - he only has the gray fabric. Looking for damaged rear or other seat to match color and pattern that shop can cut fabric to make the panels, but no luck.

I do NOT want to take on leaning upholstery......

So i found a new seat back for a tan interior ram, and immediately shipped it off to New York. Seat bottome whould be back next week. NOW wife doe not have to ride in back like Miss Daisey......

And as I was driving Ram around town getting Board Member signatures, power steering pump started growling. Hmmm....appeared to be empty. Drove back home and filled, and by this afternoon, it was growling again. Finally saw drip foming out of the bottom of the gearbox. Rebuilt the gearbox in October, but for some rason the seal failed.....so ....guess I'll be pulling the pitman arm off this evening!

Also I received the industrial sewing machine I ordered Monday. Getting ready to do upholstery for Jaguar....IF I can get finished up on Ram....

Looks like plans changed. If you need any tips on upholstery feel free to pm or ask.

This whole Ram project has been a continous series of changes of plans! lol.....

I had been quoted over $3k for the Jaguar before, and I really just need one seat done, but to match, it will require all of the upholstery to be done. So I might as well do it myself and save some money while learning something. And there isn't a shp here in town anyway, so getting someone to do it would require travel.

It is OMEGA model 444B. Don't know anything about walking foot.....so I hope so!

Here is the machine and pieces sewn while doing setup of machine.

I think it is heavy duty enough. And imagine....I did not try the wifes machine to see if it would suffice and therefore trash it! Yeah, I know, highly unlike me.....

Well I have sown for a long time and never seen one of those. Looks old not bad but old.
It does not look like a walking foot but it does look like it will pull heavy material good, nice stitch, if you can can I see the backside of those pieces that have the stitching.

I take it leather for the Jag? Make darn sure you use the right thread for what you are sowing.

Watch your fingers it hurts bad when you stitch them to your work, yes it happens.

Sewing machine was made in the 70's and completely refurbished. Cannot see signs of wear or age. Looks like new on all gear and linkage underneath. May start it up tomorrow, but that depends on whether I can remove some shelving and move it into one of storage buildings. Too much crap on shleves taht I never use. Going to reoganize to keep tools and normal usage stuff in garage and long term storage in one of the outbuildings.

Garage is about 6' longer than truck, but shelves take up too much room in front and sides. Roll top desk in there is no help either.....

I have a 180 stat and SCT Tune. Anything wrong with running unrder temp? No noticeable side effects. According to AF gauge, spends normal amount of time in "normal" range and fluctuates to rich and to lean the same as it seemed to do before.
