I took the PCV out, but left the rubber grommets. The grey PCV, black grommet, and blue VC? Thought blue gromment would look better. The snout that is there is the stub that connects to hose going back into CAI. Damn thing was tight and afraid I would break it - with no one open today...

Now I am thinking about the blue aluminum billet fuel rails!

Don't know about show quality, but a certainly a lot better than it was when I got it!

You gonna upgrade injectors too if you do that?

Not at this point. No problems with current injectors so far. I have 275,000 on OEM injectors on Yota, and Ram only has 135,000. Hoping they aren't about to give up on me. Just think the billet fuel rails would dress up engine a little more.

I should have known taht things are moving along too easily.

Upholstery shop (Ney York) called. He only has fabric for the driver seat in GREY!
My interior is tan....

Does anyone have a truck they are parting out with tan interior that is like this:

The shop can use fabric from a rear seat or from undamaged pass side front seat.

OK. Now getting ready to paint stripe. Fought mosquitos (think they won) and got it masked off last night (hence low light level photo). Did not get piece on back of cab below rear window. Got to figure a way to remove and slide bed back. Not enough room to buff this area so may wait to stripe it when I can shaghai some help....

Also, when putting in rockers, it appears I forgot to put hose back on pump bypass. Fixed that (only moved truck 10 ft so no harm). Removed rad cap and saw some crap inside. I did a flush when I replace water pump and radiator some months bacvk. It appears that I need to flush again!

Prestone I think. Got another bottle on the shelf - but may look for something else! But this may have been some crap that it was working on and is finally all clearing out. No overheating or any issues, and I haven't really driven it much. The radiator and system was pretty nasty when I got it so it may take a flush or two to get it clean.

I think the prestone stuff is just a descaler...... I used it on my van, could also stand something meaner, a couple more times.... (yes, it was rather neglected as well.)
