I was attempting to race a what looked like a 2010 HEMI one night. I already had a head start and he blew by me like I was nothing. Then I got to thinking, That truck has as much power as a 6.0 GTO. I was impressed all over again.

I get around 15.5mpg around town to and from work. And unfortunately NYS says mid-grade gasoline shall always cost an arm and a leg ($4.19/gal), I am forced to squeeze x amount of gallons into a 26 gallon tank until I hear that wonderful *click*. Looking into an aftermarket cold air intake, maybe I'll pull a couple more mgs out of it. This truck sounds like it's suffocating whenever I step on it anyway, it needs more air to feed the hemi!

i would trade you gas prices anyday. after taxes here you are paying about $5/gal for the crappy e10 87 octane gas and $5.22/gal for ethanol free 91 octane gas.

i wouldn't mind lining up with a new hemi. so far my 5.2 magnum seems to have a fair bit of power. haven't really floored it from a stop yet out how to find out how fast it is.

the 5.2 in my ramcharger might surprise people. there is a few things i have found a bit strange about it like the 3" exhaust pipe from the y-pipe to the muffler. i would guess this thing has got to breath almost as good as a truck with headers.

my wife's hemi grand cherokee could smoke my ram, it was a fast little SUV. We traded that for a YUKON with a 5.3. THe yukon will smoke my ram.

235 HP is really nothing in a heavy truck.

BTW, my wife got 14 mpg city and 22 mpg HWY with the hemi (mds). you really see the difference with MDS on the highway. Chrysler MDS isbetter than the MDS that GM uses.
