Nice! Are those 1.6 or 1.7 rockers? You're running the RT cam, right?

Sir Cracks Guaranteed Magnum Heads. Maybe 1 head not cracked

Dropped that stance to help the back.

Got the full engine gasket kit...which has FelPro 9898PT, PermaTorqueMLS

Gasket bore diameter a bit more compared to the factory.

Any thoughts on this? None issue for a stock bore?

If they are the same compressed thickness as stock, you will lose a tiny bit of compression ratio.

Aside from that, no real issues. The hole will close up some as the steel sealing rings compress. Couldn't tell ya if it'll take up the whole difference though. I wouldn't think so, but hey, ya just never know.

Hmm... Makes me wonder how big the cracks are on my heads... Only 1 way to find out!

So where the new heads at?

those felpro permatorque gaskets are nice. Got a year on my head job and not even a hint of a leak.

Mmmmm.... Those sure are pretty. You gotta it back running yet? Interested to see if you can notice any performance gains.

No way. I'm not that fast. Other tedious stuff to do first. Battling to get the spark plug shields out. Half out. Rest are bathing in PB blaster.

Soak the rockers.

Get the assembly lube steps setup for the new pushrods, yadda yadda

Hopefully I get them in and intake manifold tomorrow.

All installed and running. Fired right up. Just need to get some miles on it now.
