I put a seat of PMF traction bars on my F250, my axle hop is gone, the ride has improved and I haven't noticed any loss of flex.

Yeah, that roll is from the torque of the axle trying to move the vehicle, the lift blocks essentially give the axle a longer lever-arm to distort the springs, eliminating (or, at least, dramatically shortening) that lever arm, will greatly reduce axle wrap, (which is what we are really talking about anyway....) But, I have seen axle hop on cars, even WITH traction bars...... apply enough torque, and the tire is gonna bounce, regardless of what you do.

Exactly I have a kiss coming tomorrow to buy my 4 link rear Ram because I just have to many 2nd gens. My 96 converted 01 gets bad axle hop when you really apply the rear brakes

Mine has some rear hop as well. Not as bad since I put in new shoes and drums but still there. We'll see here, with the extra power I'm gonna add I may have to do track bars . Lets just say the end of april I will have a build thread and hopefully some dyno numbers but that's for a different thread. Back on topic how hard is the axel flip. I really don't want to pay $500 for a Dodge Off Road kit as well built as his stuff seems to be (I have a DOR track bar). I know people that can weld as long as I cut the pieces.

I'm going with a at least 600hp motor and I'm not using traction bars. Are you talking about a u bolt flip kit?

Sorry that was very unclear. I would like to do a u bolt flip kit but also flip the shackle and eliminate the block. Im looking at a goal of 430hp and 580-600ft lbs. If you are on 600hp then I won't bother with track bars unless it becomes obvious I need them I'll just stick to the shackle flip and air bags.

My motor isn't in yet but according to my measurements and calculations I won't need it unless I go full throttle from a stop. If I do get it I'll 4 link the rear. U bolt flip is not hard. I think DOR makes a reasonably priced kit. But I won't buy from them (plus I can make it myself) because of their reputation.

Yeah I'm aware of their reputation, waited over 3 months for a track bar. Wasn't happy with that but the bar seemed good. We'll see in the long run. How hard is it to flip the shackle?

Shackle flip is as simple as grind the rivets on the factory one and bolt in the shackle flip. Hardest part would be stopping the axle from moving and tilting if you are doing this in a driveway.
