i have been told that you just have to get the nut off and that is about it but getting the nut off can be a real pain.

Crazzzzzywolfieeeee, you da man. I figured...that will be the easiest thing to try. Hit it with the impact gun and bam!

So, the nut is 15/16"

Use a 15mm on the tension pulley to add more friction on the alt pulley.

Have plenty of room to get the impact gun in there b/c of my TCP shroud.

Placed the belt in middle of the new pulley ---> Incorrect

Moved it to the back and perfect alignment ---> Correct

This compressor install is looking fantastic. I'm totally jealous. Which compressor is this going to use?

Picture and specs on previous page boss.

I was hoping no belt squeeling from the changed out pulley. No dice! Got a Gates belt (2nd one now) from O-Reilly's this morning and it did the trick. I now have a trail spare.

Not a dayum thing man. It's too damn hot. It has only gone down 10 degrees since 4th of July (109F). I need to get 3/8"-16x.56" bolts for the York anyways.

So for the weekend I take the family up to the mountains to get out of the heat. 85F up there and more importantly, everyone is happy. Maybe this week will cool down some.
