Looks nice. Why didn't you just build your own out of 1/4" plate though?

for a price like that you would be hard pressed to build it for less after hydro and material

No hydro needed. Torch works just fine. And yea it wouldn't be quite as bling but I am sure Carl could fab something more structurally strong.

Time and tools for what I'd really want.

It is one of the better pieces I've been looking around. The cost in the material alone is easily $100.

For this, I'm happy with it's cost to generate it with laser cuts and clean fitup, i.e., the notches. I do have an idea to add something though.... However, it's not critical. Lastly, I don't drive in such a way to beat the snot out of it. This is merely extra insurance and to simplify the 3-link setup. Oh....this is one of the few that actually spans 98% of the axle too, which is the primary benefit.

Thanks for the props. Tomorrow it arrives and I hope to have some mockup pics.

WhiteKuk,
Great looking truck and your totally right about the York. I have had them on my last 4 Jeeps and have aired up more tires than I care to count. Artec stuff is good stuff from all the people I have talked with.

When I do make it down to run the Ruby I'll look you up.

^Indeed boss. First case o beer is on me!

Welp, the time table on the York just expedited from the Friday trail run. My ARB compressor took a dump. Gotta pull it and send to ARB. Only been in use since March 2012 and used for airing up. Not coolio.

Just get the York done & be done with it. I have only had one York ever take a dump on me and that was because my pressure switch went bad and the thing was running nonstop for over 3 hours in 100*+ heat. And I rebuilt/resealed it and it is still working. When I go on long wheeling trips out of state I always take an extra York with me just in case but have never needed it.

Let me know if I can be of any help while you get your system setup.
