Do I wheel with Jeeps? lol

How to compare? The lines are almost always different. No matter the rig, wheelspin is a no-no out here. Rubicon lockers are the worst thing when you get to tire size >33" (just my experience with the many I wheel with). While Jeeps can do just about anything on 33s, our trucks need that nice medium at 35s. This is limited to my observation in the type of terrain here. Driving style is most important factor.

You can't go wheeling here w/o the presence of a Jeep or Toyota. Here are pics of friends

Indeed. It was an item in the back of mind to remember of that simple bolt to take out, yet I didn't think I was going to be able to droop it that much. Big difference from my previous pictures...

Before tires and updated arms, but also sway bar connected... :/

Now that is some Flex. Excellent work.

Love the scenery around there too.... Gotta be hard on body panels though.

Thanks Stewie, I appreciate that.

Check out the start on Post #8, then go to #20.

Yes, foolsize wheelers tend to pinstripe and dimple a bit more.

Now that's an interesting way of putting it.

What year Rubicon did your buddy buy? If it is a newer JK Jeep then it is getting closer to the size of your truck. Most of the trails here in the Pacific Northwest are too narrow for a FST or a JK. Or I should say most trails use to be too narrow but after a bunch of AS$HOOLES came thru with their rigs our trails aren't as narrow now.

Remember to build your rig for the size of your local trails, not ruin your local trails so that your rig will fit.

His is a 2009 JKU 4 door. He doesn't have a problem going anywhere local and for the trails I've been on, either do I. I just need a front locker. Our trails are usually fairly large with the odd trail too tight for me.

Sounds good. I wouldn't worry about the front locker too much to start with. Learn to wheel your rig and pick a good line before you get a locker.
