Wheeling a fullsize

Thanks. I was real happy with the workmanship. However, we are going to make a few more modifications. We are going to shorten it a bit, and the back of the bed will be raised even with the wheel wells. The tank will be a bit higher, and it will give me a channel to put in my sand bags. I can also move my axle another 6 or 8 inches forward.

Some video from a Competition in Tegucigalpa Honduras last weekend. My long wheelbase got me stuck a bit, and eventually led to breaking a driveshaft. Unfortunately, my cameraman got the record pause and start button mixed up, so I didn't get a lot of the good stuff. I made it over a rock wall I thought I would get stuck on, but then got stuck between it and the next.

I don't mind it at all nicraage! You are doing it, bringing the action with the Black Pearl. hahahaha Very well done with what you have to work with. Very cool to see open competition on the courses like that. It's sort of possible here. I'm not ready to push mine like that...yet.
A few things you could benefit from that are also cost effective if these courses are the target use for your rig:
1. Front and Rear Detroit lockers
2. Rear shackle flip
3. Rear traction bar that doubles as a guard for the driveshaft
4. Spare front shafts and ujoints. Those will be the first to go when you bind up and can't turn the steering wheel. Heard you working real hard in that part of the video. lol
5. Gas tank skid. Protection and sliding over those roundie things.
I do really like how clean your turning radius is with that low lift in the wheel wells. It looks so good and showed in the water pit next to the loader. Oh, your spotter (at least in the video) needs to get down to look at your rear end more. Spotting the front end only won't work with our fat pigs. Spot the front end with the intention of where the rear end goes.
Keep it coming!

This past weekend we had our Memorial WFTWoCA Snow Run Event Fundraiser. It was an awesome turnout because there was snow this year. lol Last year it was all dirt roads and we turned it into a Poker Run.
I brought along 2 diesel pigs. A stock 2nd gen and a Mega Cab on 38s. We put ourselves at the back of the group on purpose. lol I was their support....

Thank you so much for the tips.
I have a detroit trutrac in the rear, and I've been contimplating a front locker or not, as I pretty much daily drive this truck also (maybe 3-4 times a week). I'm worried about binding on the street with a front locker.
I'm actually having a bunch of things done this week. I had the bed pulled for some major modifications. The axle should be moved closer to the front by the time I'm out of work today. Basically the wheels will be right behind the rear of the cab. I mentioned the rear shackle flip, and they said they can do it. They are also going to see if they can change the angle of my axle. My gas tank is going to be moved up higher, so it wont be in danger of rocks.
After that competition, I ordered a cooler for my steering pump, thinking that would help. However, i had broken a few things on my front. My dual stabilizer bars were banged up, causing my steering to bind. So I just pulled those out. Also, the solid steel steering box stabilizer hit a rock and survived, but the cast casing holding the bearing shattered.
It's a big learning curve for me, so I appreciate all the advice.
