this is my truck i did a roll on paint job with rustoleum. im kinda new to the forum but give me sum opinions on it thanks

 

Looks good, but its also dark. Get a pic in the daylight and it will tell more of the story.

 

i added another one that might b a little better.

 

Ive done a roll on paintjob before with rustoleom and it does actually work. Its all about the prep. It looks pretty good in the pic but I think if you hit it with a buffer in a couple of days with some wax it will give you that deeper shine, it almost looks like a semi gloss right now.

 

thanks i just put the last coat on today. how long should i wait before tempering with the paint to get the shine to come out. should i compound wax it than use a finishing wax?

 

i would wait 48 hrs, maybe longer depending on how cold it is there and the humidity level. How thick was your coats and your paint? if you using a polishing or buffing compound you have to be carefull to not burn through it. I just used some turtle wax and it came out nicely, but it was white.

 

they were pretty thick bc i didnt want to have to put a **** load of coats on. and all u did was polish it? and it came out shiny

 

Put a few "RATTLE CANS" of clearcoat on,it will deepen the paint more.For a roll on (I have my first experience of seeing,yours)not to shabby!!

 

Dude, I'm looking at painting my project truck soon...what rollers did you use?

 

i used high density foam rollers from home depot. make sure u get the ones for smooth surface
