How do you think this will sound? Anybody do something like this?
So now that my plenum fix, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor are done I can start my performance goodies. I'm gonna be gettin my cold air intake pretty soon. Then over summer break from school I'm thinking about doing Summit shorties, new y pipe, hi-flow cat out to single chamber "super 10" like muffler with duals out the back. Then I'm thinking of gettin a Hemifever SCT tuner. What do you guys think...any suggestions? I think it should sound pretty beefy and mean and also give me some more get up and go. Also has anyone done something close to the set up im thinking about...if so can I hear it. Thanks

Don't bother with a cold air intake, just get a good drop-in filter. (Cloth, cleanable, etc...) The so-called CAI system draw air from the EXACT same place as the stock system, they may flow a bit more air, but, for the minimal performance gain you get (if any at all), it isn't worth the money.
Headers of some variety, a better Y-pipe, will be an improvement you can feel.
1.7 rockers are also a good bolt on. (Harland Sharp full rollers, non-adjustable.)
Done your timing set yet? If your truck is over 100K miles, it past time..... the morse style chains tend to stretch terribly.
