about a week ago i had to drive up my yard which is a hill and it was wet and i had to make a 180 degree turn up to my drive way so i put it in 4 wheel drive and went about it, when i turn the wheel all the way it made knocking noises and jumped back or whatever, how ever its fine when i drive straight. idk if these trucks were just designed so they dont make smooth hard turns in 4wd or if somethings broken. now in normal operation there is a tap tap tap from the mid passenger side, and it only starts doing the tap when it goes into second gear and up, when i stop it doesnt do it in first gear. transfer case problem? idk guys. help me out. if you ask specific question i can give better descritions but i didnt wanna type a text book in here, let me know what you think.
and also, its time to get new tires. i have a 2.5 inch lift. i can fit 285/75/16r without rubing right? someone told me it would rub but i have 265/75/16r on there now i dont see how 20 milimeters more could rub. what do you think?
well with for inches of lift how much bigger could i go on stock wheels? the 285/75/16 as i was told is a 33 inch tire. correct me if im wrong but for some reason i feel like thats as big as i can go without rubbing. input? if i can get 295/75/16 i will. thanks
