Default Pop when hitting bakes

Lately I have been noticing a hard thud whenever I am applying a good amount of pressure to the brakes to come to a stop. This also happens when not applying much pressure. Also whenever this thud happens it jerks my wheel to the left. It does it on the highway and in town. It is deffinatly coming from the front or around the underneath of the dash, underneath the truck of course. lol Would it be ball joints? It is about time for some new ones.

If it happens when braking, hard or soft, I'd think you need to take a good look at the brakes, rotors, and calipers.

Wouldn't hurt to check ball joints and tie rods while there....

ok. I know that the passenger side rotor is new because I had a wheel bearing go out a while back. Do you think it could be the piston in the caliper getting stuck??

Also I have never got a direct answer on this. When I come to a stop, take off, sometimes when it shifts a pop will occur. when you put it in park and roll it forward it will pop too. I have got under it and checked and listened to it pop and sometimes it sounds like it could be coming from the tranny and one other time it sounded like it was coming from the steering column. Very confused. It is fairly loud too. This happens almost 95 percent of the time. It will do it every time when it is off and you put it in drive and then put it in park and roll it forward.
