Got her back together. Took her a for a test run. And fang she tracks straight now. I need to center my steering wheel. And go get a professional alignment. I just eye balled it to get it good enough to drive to the shop. Truck actually sits a little taller I think even with the slightly smaller tires. Or at least as high.

I have a MASSIVE clunk in my steering column now. Guess it's time for the Rock solid ram fix.

Forgot to add. She brakes like a champ now! Those 2500 calipers are larger. It will brake even better when I put the big master cylinder on when I do the rear. It has discs too!!!

OOPS I meant to edit that, not quote it. Oh well. I don't have a steering stabilizer right now either.

Are those parts, specifically the tie rod ends custom but or what brand are they? Do you know about their quality?

I am currently just trying to find some better, tougher tie rods ends to use with the steering I have just purchased

I can't say for sure what brand all his parts are. The stuff I got from him was Moog I think. It has been 6 years since I bought front end parts. They have always been great to deal with and fast to get stuff shipped.

I'm having a lot of steering sloppiness right now. I'll have to see what's causing that.

So since you have no cad is there anything else different or is it basically just a regular axle with the cad locked on all the time?

It's locked all the time. The front driveshaft will always spin. And half the t case will always spin.

But there's no pesky Vaccuum cad to malfunction
