Yeah, no problem. The steering box isn't going to move, so, it will never get any closer there. You are golden.

Ok just wanted to make sure

One side is ready to have a wheel mounted!

I gotta find one wheel bearing bolt though one I have is unusable, and it's really setting me back

We'll had a minor setback today. Wheel bearing bolt won't be here till Thursday!

But oh we'll. passenger side is ready to be bled then it's ready to go. Shocks and everything are in. Sway bar, cool springs control arms all that jazz.

I should be rolling Thursday

Axle nuts are torqued to 175 ft lbs correct?

Yep. So is the back end done as well?

From the 2001 FSM

(4) Install hub bearing bolts and tighten to 170 N·m (125 ft. lbs.).

(5) Install axle washer and nut, tighten nut to 237 N·m (175 ft. lbs.).

Ok that's what I have. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't reading things wrong.

Thanks.

Looks more and more like my steering setup is sh*t

Haven't started back end yet. It should go much smoother tho. Just have to get those little 2.5 hangars offf. Grade 8 bolts back in with the big hangars. Then just roll the rear axle in

Idk either. I will have to run it at least for a while because I don't have any other options. And I can't afford to buy a whole other setup. I didn't take the 2500 steering from the truck. It looked like junk anyway.

y-steering sucks but at least the tre didn't snap off.

Know of any aftermarket tre? Moog or anything like that?

I thought Chrysler wasn't actually replacing anything until after Jan 1st. So maybe I have something different. Idk anymore.
