I like the black wheels I think I am just going to paint the hub caps I have black and throw them on and call it done.

Just for reference this is what the truck looked like when I first got it from my dad. Obviously its completely stock

yep. After I took the yoke off and inspected it there was a bunch of gunk and metal shavings preventing the clip from completely seating.

I cleaned it all out and put it back together. I made double sure to check for proper clip seating this time. Lesson learned no harm done luckily.

It vibrated like crazy. I pulled over immediately. Glad it didnt trash my rear end right after doing all this work.

I've had front axle U joints like that, the clanking sound when going slow was a dead giveaway. I also got lucky and no damage done, but the potential is there for a bunch of it.

Ok I know it would be rediculous overkill but it's looking like a good deal, is it possible to get a dana 80 under the rear of a 1500?

Edit: would a 70 work, didn't realize 80s were usually dually rears

Ok that's what I thought but wanted to make sure. Dana 70 3.55s limited slip and dana 60 with 4.10s for $300 each a good deal? I'd have to drive to show low to pick them up but I haven't seen any other dodge axles go for that cheap
