Default Factory light?

(In my best drill sergeant impersonation) This light is on my truck. I hate this light. This light makes my baby look like a farm truck. My baby is NOT a farm truck. Is this a factory light?
I have to have an inspection tomorrow and it doesn't work. In NC, if its factory, it has to work. If not, I can just take it off and not worry about it.

The tailgate lights were factory, as far as I know, only on duallies. Yours being a 1500 it's an add-on.

NC has gone full retard on this ****. My inspection man told me that a guy from the state has literally parked across the road and watched him. Then when someone came for an inspection and left, the guy would follow them and pull them outside town and reinspect the car, hoping to catch him not following procedure because someone complained that he didn't check her horn or some ****.

Don't feel too bad, Virginia is a pain on vehicle inspections too.

If they can take a huge pry bar and stick 4 guys on the end of it and get even the slightest bit of movement on a ball joint they demand the ball joints get replaced......

Not factory, as UU said. Take it off, but be warned, there are holes back there.

I saw the holes. Had to put the ugly thing back on. Gonna have to come up with something different. Maybe remove the light and put some kind of trim over the holes. Have to think on it.
