DRDP 200MM Rear Axle

200MM rear axle, that's why I was thinking light duty (I haul with the diesel, and the wife just needs it for me to haul her furniture-it's a keeper). K.
You still have a rear 60. Mine says that too. But it's obviously a 60. Crawl under it and get the BOM number it will tell you exactly what you have

Chrysler does wired stuff

Thanks Ham Bone............I'll check it out before the temp dips (-4F tomorrow night). K.

I'm trying to figure out how to shrink me one photo of the 97 for my sig photo, if not remember to withhold sig photo.

Well I'm still looking daily and equally looking at 2500's. Nothing has peaked my interest as of yet. Definitely would get a gas 2500 though if the right truck comes up. not a diesel. Not a diesel fan. I believe I read that not every 2500 gas has Dana 60s though. Like a heavy duty d44/9.25. Is this true and if so, how do you tell without actually seeing the truck? If its 8 bolt is it automatically a 60?
Yes sir haha I did! I had just finished cruising kijiji and came here and thought heh small world lol. I think you're a good few hours north of me though haha.

Hey guys. So I didn't buy the black ram sport with the off road edition axles. The guy wouldn't cooperate with me on a day to go and see it and it sold before I had a chance to see it.

I know this is probably starting to get old but.. I found another one. I'll post a pic tomorrow when he gets me some more. It's a 99 ram sport 1500. A true sport this time. It's green. Has a 4 inch RC lift, power windows, locks, cruise etc, brand new 35" BGF MTs.. But here's the real seller.. 1 ton axles out of a 98 ram. I'm going to get him to send me pics of the diff covers to confirm that they are indeed 60's. But there's one thing I'm confused about.. He said it has lockers on the hubs. I'm assuming he means lock out hubs? To my knowledge, ram 2500's never had lock out hubs in a 2nd gen? He bought it 2 months ago and he doesn't actually know a whole lot about the truck. Its a 5.9 with 192xxx km. He spent $1000 to get it certified and then he lost his job. He wants to sell it ASAP and wants $4000 obo. He's desperate and I would assume I could take it off his hands for $3000-3500

The only one ton axles out of a 98 is going to be a dually. I don't think they had a one ton single tire until later.

Correct.

See if they are eight lug axles. Might have D60's in there.

Okay. Yes they are 8 lug axles. When he says 1 ton axles he could simply mean Dana 60's. Sadly he doesnt know much abiut the truck at all so i have to try and figure it out before I see. 4 hours away :\ But if i can get it cheap enough and if its what he says it is, its worth it. What does he mean by lockers on the hubs?
