Don't fall off of the roof. Keep a Chimfex stick handy for the first burn just in case in the course of cleaning you expose creosote that's been hiding under soot -- it's too late to run to the hardware store once the thing's whistling.
I don't have a stove or fireplace just now, but if I did I'd pay a sweep to clean the chimney. I've never done that before, have always cleaned my own, but I never really enjoyed doing it and it just doesn't seem a thing I want to do again. After our last move when for the first time I paid others to do the heavy lifting I'm not going to do that myself again, either.

looks to be some dents, and dings. its a work truck, and will still be one if i take ownership.
i still plan on plowing, and doing heavy lifting with it. we plan on either buying land, or a house within the next year or 2.

I don't think my question needs a thread, I'm gunna buy new rims in the next month or two. I'm going to get 5 lug but down the road I'm doing the Dana 60 swap and I was wondering if there's a big issue finding 8 to 5 lug conversions? I just don't want to go and buy a new set of rims for 8 lugs.
Wait and buy your 8 lug rims. You'll be better off and will thanks us for telling you to wait. I'm not sure if there is a 5 to 8 lug spacer or not. I wouldn't run them in the first place but that is just me.
Alright thanks wildman
just wondering but what's wrong with running the 5 lug? Strength issues? Also would there be any issue with the 9.25 in the rear running the 8 lugs or anything?

There are effectively no 5x5.5 to 8 lug conversion spacers. I found one company and a pair was > $200. You can buy 4 wheels for that price depending on where you look.
It's not worth the effort or money, plus the spacers push the wheels out further (minimum 3/4") for stud/nut clearance.
8 lug wheels are more plentiful, 8x6.5 that is rather than the Ford 8x170mm crap.
You should post such questions in the various axle swap threads in the future.
