Well, let me scratch virginia off the list of potential places to move to eventually.

I pay property taxes on my house. That's it. Sales tax is 6%. The state probably simply extracts it out of me some other way. (state income tax?)

Where the the cupholder goes in the dash for the auto trucks. Right below the radio. For the manual trucks there is a trim piece there that has a little cuby hole in it. What is the name of that? I cant find it in the lmc catalog and googling is not providing me with any direction?

Grab the parts manual from the faq section. They have illustrations that should help.

Well out here on the west coast we have no state tax in Washington and our registration fee's are around $75 for a car or truck. You do have to pay tonnage on the truck but hey it isn't that much. Now the way WA makes up it's money is by a tax on each gal of fuel you buy. California does the same thing except their tax is higher.
Now Oregon is different as they charge a state tax but no sales tax. So if you live close to Oregon and are looking to buy a $4,000 TV I would go to Oregon and save 9% sales tax.

Fairfax County has a gas tax as well, probably other NoVa counties but I'm not sure.

Because of that gas is crazy high, for example, as of yesterday depending on which gas station you went to here in Fredericksburg you can buy diesel for less than 10 cents more than regular unleaded which is around $2.53

In Fairfax County regular is around $2.89 or so and diesel is close to $3/gallon

North Carolina adds 37 cents to each gallon gas or diesel. Virginia is only 11 cents on gas but 20 cents on diesel. Georgia is the lowest at only 7.5 cents.

This is why you NEVER purchase fuel in North Carolina. Clearly that's difficult when you live there....

When I was driving semi there were times that I had to drive through North Carolina, The company paid for a tax stamp for the state but I still had to buy a minimum of 50 gallons of fuel when I would drive through the state.

So,... unless I absolutely had to go through or deliver something there I avoided the entire state as much as I could, it was company policy, they were willing to pay the extra miles to go around it when necessary.

There were a few other states that the company would pay me to stay out of. Virginia and Arkansas were two more that I can remember but there were more,...
