I've only seen the tinted two piece version on 98 and up. There could be a difference or lots of aftermarket versions were used. Could also have been a dealer install item early on as the sliders got more popular in the late 90s.

My 98 has a three panel slider, and the center panel is actually powered. There is a switch at the base of the dash, near the SRS box. I suspect it is indeed aftermarket.

Are we talking any the rear window "slider?" If so I thought about an aftermarket power slider

Three panels showed up on 3rd gens so that must be aftermarket. Never heard/seen of powered windows in 2nd gens. Mine is the split manual 4 piece.

In 98 there wasn’t a factory electric rear slider, and the aftermarket options were just coming out.
