When i press on gas engine slows then revs up

Yeah, I don't get that at all. It really *shouldn't* be doing that. Is it possible there is a short in that connector, and it makes contact when unplugged? Or something equally as silly? The PCM sees the correct reading for the TPS, at least, most of the time....... That's a real puzzler.

I just desoldered the wire right of the PCM and its reading 5.098

If you unplug that connector, do you get continuity between those two wires? (unplugged at both ends.)

maybe, I just checked the alternator its putting out 14.3 volts. The engine lite if off again
