Default magnum engines

can anyone tell me if the motor mounts on the 5.9 are the same style as the v10 ram engine?
style, position, height? I am going to try and drop a v10 magnum engine and tranny that i just picked up into my 66 polara 500 convertible. im sure im going to have to modify the trans tunnel and trans mount but i have never seen mounts like the ones on this engine. any help would be great. Thanks all

I'm pretty sure they're not the same mounts. That's what like 120 cubic inches bigger, and 800 pounds heavier? but that does sound like a pretty cool project.

Ok i have just compared and the mounts ARE the same. Now i need to find a place that makes mounts for the magnum engine to drop into my C-Body. any one have any ideas?
oh and BTW the total weight of the engine is only 60lbs heavier than the 440 engine total weight.

Hey sounds like a cool toy! Post some pics after you shoe-horn that engine in the car!

Hmmm.... Wonder if I could put a Viper V-10 in my 95 Ram? As if I had a spare V-10 laying around. Would be a cool project though.
