Default SHOCK POLL

Just put new shocks on my truck and am not happy with the ride quality. I have 90 days to return them and don't know what to try next. I do all city and highway driving and am looking for as smooth of a ride as possible. I know most of you do at least some off-road but I am curious about other opinions. Any opinions or advice is appreciated. Thanks

I really, reallylikethe edelbrock IAS shocksI put on mine. They reduce the body roll considerably on highway turns and sharp corners at higher speeds. They're aren't cheap, but quality seldom is.

I envy you. Edelbrock would probably be my first choice but just cannot bring myself to spend that much on shocks. I don't think I've ever heard or read anything bad about them. Thanks for the reply. Anybody else ?

I like my Rancho RS9000XL's. They are the newest version of the 9-way adjustable shocks from Rancho. They are gas charged and with the adjustability feature, it's like having 9 differntly valved shocks to choose from. They are pricey though at $95.00 a shock.

Of the ones listed on your poll, I really like the Monroe Reflex whenI put them on my first Ram which was a 2001 1500 QC.

Thanks for the advice from everyone. The local jobber we use at work suggested the Monroe SensaTracs for a smooth ride (that's why I included them in the poll). Inexpensive ($38 a shock and a lifetime warranty). I see someone voted for them. Still not sure. But I appreciate the opinions from everyone. (and I was told the Reflex ride pretty stiff).

Just wondering, whats a good set of shocks to go with for a stock height truck. From the looks of them, I'd have to say that my shock are original so I think with 136k miles on them, its about time to replace them. I looked at some shocks you guys named off but they are for lifted trucks and although I would love to lift my truck 3", the timing is all wrong because I have to leave the country for 2 years and lifting it would be a waste because I wouldn't be able to enjoy it.
