Default Timing chain install done

Incase anyone was wondering how it is after the timing chain install here it is. The throttle responce is instant, there is absolutely no hesitation anymore, but unfortunately I wasnt quite thinking and I installed 4* advanced rather than 4* retard, so I lost a bit of torque and hp, rather than hopefully gaining some. The water pump was leaking again today so I have to tear it down again, and Im going to change it to retard today while Im back in there. It should be better once I get that on right.

Hey Indy, you wanna do awrite upor at least elaborate on what confused you from the Pavement Sucks article? You took a lot of pictures while you were in there. I'll probably need to do this over Winter Break.

Ill do a write up for sure, prolly sunday or tues. The thing that confused me about the pavementsucks.com article was my dumb self. I wasnt looking at things properly, but after the first time, I tore it down and put it together really quick no problems.

btw. I set it at 4* retard and it is insane now...instant throttle responce, and the sob pulls like a raped ape. As far as bang for the buck seat of the pants satisfaction, this is by far my favorite mod. (I do have a check engine light for: Manufacture's Ignition system or Misfire. Anyone know why that could be? Think that would be learned by the pcm eventually?

what is the cps? I figgured i pissed off a sensor.

Edit: oh, the cam position sensor, or crank position sensor. But would that throw a code for ignition, or misfire?
