No offense but if any of you put your truck in a ditch in winter weather because of a open diff you need driving lessons and really shouldn't even be on the road. I'm just saying while it may be free if you do some research you all will see that this is a super common problem and most people don't get very many miles out of them from when they are new. So what happens when you put a used one in? You don't know how many miles it has it may only be 10k miles but there is a good chance it's a lot more than that. It may be 100k and he may spend shipping and install time and be replacing it in a month. He can do what he wants like I said its not my truck I'm just saying what I'd do with my truck.

I like to do stuff right and not half assed. I guess I'm just weird about doing stuff right.

You can hand deliver it to me. It'd only be half the drive compared to Neon's house. J/K.

X: You have some money.
Y: You are willing to take a chance.

If X exists, but not Y, get an Auburn or a Detroit.
If Y exists, but not X, take Slomojo's offer.
If neither X nor Y exist, go with the open carrier until X exists.

What happend to the $400 you were going to have to spend on a axle housing when you thought you need that? Plus labor to install it which is probably atleast that much? Since you now don't have to pay anywhere near that in labor I'd take that extra money to do it right. Then take the rest of it and start fixxing the suspension setup so it's done right. I don't understand why guys especially ones that plan to keep their trucks like to just throw stuff together. It seems like a lot of people like to do that and don't actaully have stuff done right.

I AGREE, I LIKE THE SOUND OF A FREE LSD.
Free LSD... I'm getting second thoughts... That seems a little stupid. I don't wanna do anything a little stupid. Maybe I should rethink this.

That's more like it. Really stupid. But it could be even better. Sheeeeit, I'll stop in Mexico, pick up some cheap cervesas, a few mexicans to work for 5 bucks an hour, and have them chauffeur me all the way to Maine plus do all the dirty work for me while I sleep in the back of the truck with not even a couple tires underneath it for safety while tickle me pink

haha rabbler you are the ****
